Downtown Savannah Couples Shoot

Lexi + Brooke reached out to me a couple of months ago about taking photos to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. These two celebrated their honeymoon in Savannah this time last year and they decided to take photos every anniversary - an idea I LOVE!

This shoot was super special to me for many reasons. 1) This was my first same sex couple - something I’ve been wanting to shoot for awhile now, but never had the opportunity. 2) My creative juices are finally back to flowing after having Covid, so we made some MAGIC!

L + B said they love Savannah, especially River Street so we started the session off at Emmett Park. This park can be often overlooked (it’s sandwiched between Bay Street and River Street, two very busy streets), but always makes the best backdrop for photos. We then wondered around River Street looking for some pretty spots. We ended the shoot right outside of Vic’s on the River, where there’s gorgeous bridges and archways.
