About Kenzie

Hi y’all! My name is McKenzie – Kenzie for short. I’m a Savannah wedding photographer that has been capturing love for over six years. My passion for photography started at a young age, when I used to take photos for friends with a cheap point and shoot digital camera. Since then, my hobby grew into a full time career leading me into the world of Savannah wedding and elopement photography & I never looked back!

I’ve called Savannah home for about 4 years now – I’ve grown to love this city (how could you not?!) with its gorgeous architecture, Spanish moss scattered trees, and the diversity of people and places. It makes the perfect backdrop for a Savannah photographer. Even though I love it here SO much, I’m also always down to travel to wherever you are.

my main goal

Not only do I want you to have beautiful images, I want us to have fun doing it! I strive to create every photo session an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

How will I do this?

1) Get to know you first. Through email, phone call or an in person meeting - I want to know all about you and what you expect from me.

2) Help you in any way I can. Picking locations, helping plan outfits and more.

3) Guide you through the shoot. I will give prompts to help pose you and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

I would describe my editing style as: fun, timeless, a little on the lighter side but full of color!

FAQs

  • Price varies depending on what type of session you’re looking for! Once you inquire with me, I’ll send over my pricing sheet that highlights my most popular packages for weddings, elopements, and portraits.

  • WEDDINGS: A free consultation, session time (6, 8, or 10 hours), a customized timeline, complimentary engagement session, all the best edited images on an online gallery + sneak peeks within 72 hours.

    SESSIONS: Session time (mini, hour or two hours), custom location guide, all the best edited images on an online gallery within 2 weeks of shooting.

  • I do not. Part of the process and experience is editing - it’s what makes my photography different from others. RAW files are extremely large, unedited and pretty much not useful.

  • Nope! Although, I always appreciate a tag or shoutout.

  • South Ga weather can be very tricky, especially during certain times of year. I always tell my clients that Savannah weather can’t make up it’s mind. One day it will say it will rain and then it wont. Some days it’ll rain in the late afternoon, but stop after 20 minutes. That being said, if the rain is super bad, then I will gladly reschedule. For out of town clients, I usually always make sure the next morning is available for rain delay. For wedding and elopement clients, there’s no rescheduling your wedding, so I’ll whip out my prettiest clear umbrellas and we’ll embrace the rain!

  • Absolutely! I will travel all over the world for a wedding or elopement. If it’s a destination on my bucket list, I’ll shoot your wedding for FREE if you pay for travel expenses.
