A Surprise Low Country Savannah Proposal at Isle of Hope

Getting to photograph friends is something special, especially when it’s for a surprise Savannah proposal. I’ve known Alex and Connor for years! Alex was my sorority sister in college and someone who I spent almost every single day with along with our friend group. Her and her boyfriend Connor have been dating for about four years and I couldn’t think of anyone better suited for each other. 

Connor came to me earlier this year saying that he was ready to propose and I was so excited! We went back and forth trying to figure out the perfect plan on how to make this happen without her knowing - she is definitely one to figure out this type of stuff so it was tricky lol. We came up with the perfect plan. 

We came up with a fake event that was “happening” at the Isle of Hope marina - we made a fake poster and everything; it was pretty convincing. I was hiding behind a fence when they pulled up in their car - I was literally laying on the ground so they wouldn’t see me. Once they got to the edge of the water, he popped the question and she was actually SO surprised!
